On Thursday, October 9th, our Canyon-Lister Elementary Cross Country team laced up their runners and took to the trails at beautiful Canyon-Lister Park for a fun and energetic day of racing! The event brought together students from Adam Robertson Elementary, Erickson Elementary, and Salmo Elementary, creating a wonderful sense of community, sportsmanship, and friendly competition.

The weather couldn’t have been better, and the excitement was high as runners from all grades showed courage, perseverance, and school spirit out on the course. It was inspiring to see students cheering one another on, pushing themselves to do their best, and celebrating every finish — whether it was a sprint to the line or a steady, determined jog to the end.

A big shoutout to all our runners who represented Canyon-Lister with pride and positivity! Your hard work at practices and your great attitudes on race day truly shone through. Thank you as well to our staff, families, and volunteers who came out to support the event — we couldn’t have done it without you.
