Ms. Adams’ Grade 2/3 class recently enjoyed a fun-filled day at the Kootenay-Columbia Discovery Centre. Students explored the wonders of nature by dipping nets into the water to discover tiny aquatic creatures, examining specimens under microscopes, and investigating a variety of fascinating natural curiosities. The hands-on activities sparked curiosity and excitement as students learned more about the plants, animals, and ecosystems that make our region unique. It was a wonderful day of exploration and discovery.
