Our Grade 2/3 students took part in a meaningful lesson about kindness and the impact of our words. Through discussion and activities, they explored how unkind words can hurt others, while positive and kind words can lift people up.

Students reflected on their own experiences and practiced using encouraging language, learning that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in their classroom and school community. This lesson helped them understand empathy, respect, and the importance of thinking about the words we use.

It was inspiring to see students share thoughtful ideas and commit to using their words to build each other up, creating a more caring and supportive environment at CLES.
