Throughout the winter months, we were lucky to have players from our local hockey team, the Creston Valley Thundercats (TCats), join us at recess. The TCats spent time playing tag, soccer, grounders, and more with our students, bringing great energy and enthusiasm to the playground.

Students truly looked forward to these visits. It was wonderful to see older role models jumping into games, encouraging participation, and building positive connections with our learners.

As the TCats’ season comes to an end, we want to sincerely thank them for sharing their time with our school community. We have appreciated their visits and look forward to welcoming them back again next year.
