With our Outdoor Education and Garden Program we would like to provide hands-on learning experiences and give students the opportunity to grow and make their own food. Students will benefit from taking care of something and watching the growth and development over time. They can celebrate their successes and learn from their mistakes through a variety of experiences, from planning and building the garden spaces to planting their seeds and harvesting the plants to share amongst the school and community. Our school is located in a farming community, so we also hope that our garden program will connect students to their community through collaborative work and shared interests. We would like to embrace our farming roots through this growing program.

Email Mr. Mitchell,  if you are interested in getting involved in this project.
