On Tuesday March 12th CLES students gathered in the gym to watch their peers show off their talents in the second portion to CLES's talent show, Talent Show Too!

On Wednesday March 6th CLES students were able to participate in Indigenous Traditional Field Games and Sports led by special guests Vanessa Lozecznik, and Alan and Eric from Flatbow Society.

This past month has been a flurry of physical, intellectual, social and emotional learning in our six families of schools as students engaged in activities that stretched their skills, and exercised their understanding, leading us toward our upcoming spring break from March 18 to April 1.

This week CLES students explored a variety of artifacts lent to us from the Canadian Museum of History.  Students were able to touch and try on a variety of artifacts such as: a pair of Inuit Snow Goggles, a Beaver Felt Hat, a Ceinture Flech

This past week students in Mr. Ewashen and Ms. Feltham's class had a special visit from members of the Creston Fire and Rescue. Students learned about fire safety through a presentation and activities. 

We are nearing the 100th day of school and in primary grades, this is an important day of learning! All of our students are about halfway through the year, many have begun second semester, and everyone is in full learning mode in their classrooms, outdoors and in their communities.
