CLES Families are invited to the Canyon-Lister Elementary School Playground Grand Opening and ribbon cutting Ceremony.

In the heart of Canyon-Lister Elementary School, there is a space that holds the magic of storytelling and the potential for young minds to grow and thrive. That space is our school library.

This month, I want to share my gratitude for some unexpected gifts we have received in our district and in our schools through the month of October. 

What do you do when you have lots of worries?  Feed them to your Worry Monster of course!  Thanks to Ms. Danforth's intermediate class, Ms.

Halloween is coming and we know that many students will arrive at school in wild, imaginative, and creative costumes!

The day has finally arrived; the playground is now open!!  The kids are absolutely beyond themselves with excitement. Every class had a separate time to go out and use the playground today, in addition to recess and lunch breaks.

Dear CLES Parents/Guardians,

Our next PAC meeting is on Monday October 16th at 1:30pm in the CLES Library (note time change).  We normally have our PAC meetings in the evening but we have had a really low turnout so we’re going to try an afternoon. 

What a wonderful way to start the day after a long weekend.  While the seasons rain has rolled in making our feet wet, the rain has also brought a beautiful rainbow!  

The woodchips were delivered on Friday October 6th into a giant pile. We are looking for volunteers on Wednesday October 11th at 9:00am, to spread out the existing older woodchips across the entire playground area.

On Friday September 29th students in Mme Victoria’s class presented about Truth & Reconciliation at our assembly, highlighting the 94 Calls to Action by
